Mother’s Day Event
Congratulations to all the mothers, grandmothers and aunts who have made it to the 2ndMother’s Day under COVID restrictions. Bannerman Community League is pleased to present a Mother’s Day Moment with two options to celebrate mothers in Bannerman.
Mother’s Day Package One
- A small plant that you can grow inside or plant in a flower box outside to enjoy all summer.
- A photo of mom and family as a memory of Mother’s Day 2021 by Bild Photography, Miguel Mayorquin.

Mother’s Day Package Two
- A box of sweets prepared by EdmontonEats Cultural Hosts who live in our neighbourhood. Treats that are traditionally created to celebrate Eid al-Fitr (the celebration of spring and new beginnings).
- A bouquet of flowers prepared by Maria, the same floral designer, who made the flower arrangements on Mother's Day last year.
- A photo of mom and family as a memory of Mother’s Day 2021 by Bild Photography, Miguel Mayorquin.

Both packages will be available for pick-up at the Bannerman Community League, 14034 23rd. Street NW (beside the Bannerman School). When you purchase your tickets you will be given a time for your pictures and flower pickup. If you want to get a package for you or your mother and need assistance with making the payment give Lesley a call at 780-916-7358. She will help you out.
