Bannerman has many opportunities for you to bond with your neighbours. If you have an idea to contribute to our vast number of sport and social programs, get in touch to volunteer.
SoftballTogether with the Community Leagues in northeast Edmonton and the Edmonton Warriors, the Northeast Zone (NEZ) Sports Council offers minor softball programs for children from 4 to 19 years old. Players of all skill levels are welcome to register and play in the NEZ's softball program.

A concession is ran by our rink attendant. Free helmets and a variety of skate sizes are available to donate to residents who need them. Free use of facilities with a community league membership. BaseballNortheast Zone (NEZ) Baseball has worked hard to develop a fun program aimed at player development. The NEZ program has over 400 players and hosts over 50 teams with athletes from 4 to 19 years old.
Yoga in Bannerman![]() Postponed Until Further Notice
Join certified yoga instructor Jen Dunford for yoga excercise geared for all fitness abilities. Please get in touch with bannermanleague@gmail.com if you would like to send and e-transfer to register for all 10 weeks at a cost of $90. This weekly activity is designed for anyone wishing to increase their cardio routine and jam out to great music of all genres. Joanne will be your instructor, who has an extensive background in dance coaching. $10 for three one-hour sessions SwimmingShow your Bannerman Community League membership card anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. on Saturdays for free access to the pool at Clareview Recreation Centre (3804 139 Avenue).
Females can enjoy a recreational swim in an all-female environment with all-female staff Sundays between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at Eastglen Leisure Centre (11410 68 Street). Seniors Gatherings |
